Because this is potentially hazardous work, if you volunteer, you will need to sign a Release of Liability Form. Here is a copy of the form:

United Way Disaster Relief

The United Way of Monroe County announced Thursday that it has opened a Relief Fund to help low- and moderate-income families throughout Greene, Monroe and Owen counties recover from the recent tornadoes and severe weather.

United Way has partnered with emergency management officials in the three-county area to create this fund, according to a news release. Donations to the fund can be made online at www.monroeunitedway.org/disaster or send checks to United Way of Monroe County. 431 S. College Ave, Bloomington, IN 47403. All funds raised will go toward tornado victims.

Several homes were damaged within the three-county area last week, the release states.
